Our NEW Vegetarian & Vegan Prepared Salads are made from the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Joan Day, president of Mediterranean Delights, sees these new salads as a logical extension of their current foodservice division, “Many of our foodservice consumers have been asking us to expand our salads into the retail market because they have come to trust the quality and integrity of our products.”

Mediterranean Delights’ prepared salads are blends of a unique selection of grains, vegetables & fresh herbs which not only add texture and color but also unique flavors that add another dimension to the traditional salads found in the supermarket deli grab-n-go sections. Consumers are developing more sophisticated tastes & palates as well as dictating the demand for healthier “on the go” eating lifestyles. Due to this demand Mediterranean Delights’ Retail Prepared Salads are a convenient, time-saving solution for today’s busy lifestyle.

“Our salads are not only packed full of flavor and vibrant tastes, they are high in protein & fiber while being low in fat and sodium, while meeting the consumers “on the go” needs with reasonable prices,” states Joan Day. Currently the Prepared Salads are available in convenient colorful 7 ounce retail containers with an SRP of $3.99.

NATIONAL STANDARD OF CERTIFICATION

Mediterranean Delights, a business specializing in manufacturing All Natural & Certified Organic Hummus, Dips and Whole-Grain Salads, received national certification as a minority owed business certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC’s national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. Mediterranean Delights is 100% woman owned.
